The New Chandler men's national football team has represented New Chandler in international soccer competition since June 2010. They are the host nation of the annual AIFF Tropics Cup. They have a strong rivalry with Duwamish as well.
New Chandler started their play in the 2010 AIFF World Cup and 2010 AIFF Confederations Cup as one of the lowest rated and regarded teams in the AIFF. In the Chihiro Simlympic Games, New Chandler finally came into light in a movement known as "the great uprise" by the fans. The team finished in fourth place in the games that year.
More than four months after the New Chandler team was in the AIFF, they finally got their first victory at home against Cincinatti during the inaugural 2010 AIFF Tropics Cup. They upset teams such as Tirnreich and Duwamish in that tournament to get to the championship game, in which they lost to Escambia in extra time. Since then, New Chandler has been a highly regarded team, getting third place in the 2010 Kalama Winter Cup and second in the 2010 Linktoria SEGA Invite.
In November 2010, it was announced that New Chandler would be playing in the 2011 Kalama Spring Cup and the 2011 COFR Cup, both hosted in Duwamish. It was also announced that New Chandler renewed the Tropics Cup for the 2011 year. As of December they are also trying to host a DPL Tropics Cup for club teams.
On November 29, 2010, head coach for New Chandler Roberto Jimenez was fired, and Muhannad Ozman took over the position.
