HistoryEdit

2010Edit

During the first match played by Quinault in AIFF, they were defeated 3–11 by Escambia at Quileute Stadium on December 2, 2010. Bruce Washington got the first goal and first hat-trick in Quinaultan history, while Sunkte Saathoff and Lester Nkufo both scored 6 times each. In their second match, and first away game, the team staged a massive 5–0 upset at Don Fierro Stadium against New Chandler on December 6, 2010. Omar González opened up scoring early in the first minute and then midfielder Brian Peters scored in the 45th to have a 2–0 lead at halftime. González proceeded to score again in the 55th, 81st and 87th minute, completing his hat-trick and beating out Bruce Washington as all-time leading goalscorer. González was sent off in the 90th minute after a reckless tackle in the penalty box and the subsequent penalty was saved by goalkeeper Bruce Fritz. The following week, back at Quileute Stadium on December 12, 2010, Insulo defeated the team 4–1. Insulonian Saïd Benthami opened up scoring in the 7th minute for Insulo and later scored off of a direct free kick in the 70th minute. Sage Chan of Quinault was sent off in the 29th minute after a reckless tackle inside the penalty box and Insulonian captain Vincent Snelling scored off the ensuing penalty. Will Stevens of Quinault conceeded a direct free kick goal in the 81st minute for Jul Benthami and Omar González prevented a shut out with a goal in the 85th minute.
